The moves are simple, but the decisions are tricky. Citrus is a special kind of dilemma game. Even when buying at the plantation market, you have a number of options, but buying the coveted plantations often means that you have to take some that you can't use at the moment. And after the purchase, the next dilemma arises: What is the best way to utilise the plantation tiles? Should I expand a large area and have many fincas adjacent to it or should I build on a landscape tile that opens up more possibilities?

Jeff Allers has incorporated a whole range of original mechanisms into the game, which otherwise fits seamlessly into the dlp series: Manageable playing time, appealing material, challenging without degenerating into work and, like all games in the dlp series, can also be played as a pure 2-person game without any compromises.

The clear and easy-to-understand rules also offer a few additional variants, a simplified version (for example, for beginners) and a short game version on the back of the game board.
